A speeding truck tragically killed seven people, including six pilgrims and a parked dumper driver, on the Lakhtar-Viramgam highway in Gujarat’s Surendranagar district early Monday. The devotees were on a religious procession from Rajkot to Bahucharaji when the incident occurred. The truck driver fled the scene, and authorities are actively searching for him.
