He had allowed others to use his account for a promised payment of Rs 15,000, which never materialized. The investigation revealed a cybercrime syndicate that processed Rs 2.2 crore through multiple linked accounts. Five bank accounts were used for illegal transactions, supposedly connected to casinos in Goa.
