Ahmedabad is poised to host the 2036 Olympics with the green-energy-powered Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave. This Rs 5,050 crore project, aiming completion by 2028, will be fueled by 30MW of renewable energy daily. Aligned with Ahmedabad’s Net Zero 2070 goal, the AMC is expanding renewable energy use citywide, targeting 90% renewable energy by 2028.
