Ahmedabad, Surat courts receive bomb threat emails

Courts in Gujarat, including Surat and Ahmedabad, received bomb threat emails on Saturday. Security agencies and police conducted thorough checks after the alarming messages were received. The Surat district court received a specific threat to blow up its premises with a bomb. Lawyers’ associations expressed concern over repeated threats and the lack of evacuation. Ahmedabad Police stated that routine procedures are being followed as investigations continue.
